Sr. Sales Manager- HPC

Fii is seeking a Sr. Sales Manager with proven high-level expertise in selling data center infrastructure-related solutions. This role will be selling Fii Data Center Service Solutions.

This is a relationship management-driven, strategic business development role. This is a combination of channel sales, Industry PR, strategic partner relationship management, and straight-end client sales. This role is expected to work closely with enterprise customers to develop a sales pipeline. Our services are a great match for new clients moving into colocation facilities that require design, build relocation assistance for their IT services.

Qualified individuals must have a successful track record selling Colocation, Interconnection, Cloud, and Hosting solutions. Ideal candidates will also have experience selling professional services around data center build-out and migration. Successful candidates will have a basic understanding of Data Center Design and Build. This person will be an individual, sales contributor.

 This is a strategic role, but this person will also be out in front of our partners often to build business relationships and drive the end-to-end sales process. Our data center solutions team offers data center design and build as well as data center consolidation and optimization. We specialize in a variety of IT infrastructure professional services and solutions.


Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Support execution of Channel revenue plans to agreed metrics and targets.
  • Drive improvement in customer satisfaction through the enablement of strategic account planning, timely issue resolution, and internal support.
  • Orchestrate sales reviews and rhythm of the business for the Channel, including key account plans and performance monitoring.
  • Utilize financial acumen to drive win-win outcomes.
  • Build Channel sales strategy utilizing industry knowledge and trends, channel partner insights, and Data Center/IDC understanding to drive Channel growth.
  • Develop digital transformation approach in alignment with the overall Fii vision and product long-range plans.
  • Drive Consumer Channel segmentation, optimization, scale, and Fii’s strategic resource.
  • Thought leadership on the Data Center & IDC business, inspiring a future focus shared vision.
  • Lead role excellence and skills development strategy for all related roles to our business.


Education Requirements and Ideal Experience Includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Must have 5+ years of Data Center & IDC ecosystem experience with a focus on HPC system integration and services sales.
  • Must have 5+ year’s people leadership experience and capabilities to in Data Center & IDC ecosystem.
  • Experience driving transformation and business growth through Data Center & IDC market.
  • Deep insight into Data Center & IDC market.
  • Experience with digital transformation and Omnichannel evolution leading to joint profitability.
  • Coaching and negotiation internally and externally to bring products to market that will win.
  • Strategic business planning, analysis, and insight to capture growth opportunities.
  • High standards and ethics in business practices.
  • Ability to learn/ramp fast to achieve impact.


Special Skills:

  • Knowledge of virtual machine resource allocation, cloud storage service, and cloud service migration would be a great candidate.
  • Knowledge of data center design and deployment best practices expertise related to structural support systems, power distribution to the cabinet-level, carrier infrastructures, structured cable plant, space planning, physical security/ access control, and overall data center layout would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of IT construction, cabling infrastructure build-out, power distribution, and cooling methods would be a plus.
  • Prior experience with large-scale data center design, build-out, and relocation projects.
  • Professional sales and negotiations training.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management platforms.
